A musical theatrical inspired by the voices of Nina Simone; Aunt Sarah, Saffronia, Sweet Thing, and Peaches, 3Women: Voices Of Power explores through music, theatrics, and dance the voices of three modern-day women to weave a quilt that contributes twenty-first century relevance to stories of challenge, perseverance and triumph. Starring the UK's Queen of Soul, Julie Dexter, Jazz Pianist, Jazz/Pop Vocalist, Chanda Leigh and Poet/Soul Singer, Kemi Bennings. Narrated by former Ebony Fashion Fair model, artist and professor, Linda Pearl Fils-Aime (A Lady Named Pearl). Dance choreography by Dawn Axam (Axam Theatre, Atlanta).  Who Is A Lady Named Pearl?

Linda Pearl Fils-Aime is a Hatian-American electro-pop/hip hop artist, entertainer and fashion model. Pearl has toured with Lil Wayne and Juvenile and has opened for various platinum artists. Beautiful and statuesque, Pearl has appeared in publications such as JET and Ebony as well as calendars. She has toured to over 220 cities with Ebony Fashion Fair as a runway model. Her debut CD, Transformation, is produced by UK born, internationally acclaimed producer, Daz-I-Kue of Bugs In The Attic.

Who is Julie Dexter?

Born and raised in Birmingham, England, classically trained, Julie Dexter is a world-renowned singer/songwriter who has won numerous international awards. Julie is considered by many to be one of the most important female vocalists of her generation. Julie Dexter has released a total of six albums and has shared the stage with this generation's cutting-edge soul artists, including Jill Scott, Bilal, Amel Larrieux, Donnie, Omar, Loose Ends, Jaguar Wright, Rachelle Ferrell, Ledisi, Frank McComb, Eric Roberson, Raheem DeVaughn and Fertile Ground, to name a few.

Who is Chanda Leigh?

At 12-years old, Chanda Leigh began directing the choir at her father's church. She was musical director on The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show and recorded her first album with Grammy-nominated producer, DaMone Arnold. Chanda has world toured with the Grammy-nominated reggae band, Morgan Heritage and has also graced the big screen in Jerry Bruckheimer's romantic film, Coyote Ugly. She has recorded and performs with pop icon, Irene Cara. Chanda has also been showcased on MTV, The Roseanne Show, and The Caroline Rhea Show. Her theater credits include Fats Waller's Ain't Misbehavin', and Five Guys Named Moe, and has recently returned from a tour in Japan.
